Dinner for Six is an excellent social activity designed to help us become acquainted with fellow members. Members simply sign up for a given three-month period. The Dinner for Six Coordinator pairs up six members (couples and/or singles) who get together once a month for three months. Participants host a meal on a rotating basis—either in a home or a restaurant per group consensus. After three months, new sign ups are made and all who sign up are placed into new groups to meet new people.
Hospitality includes two separate committees.
Once a month a group of ladies heads for a local restaurant (chosen by the day’s host) to enjoy good food and terrific fellowship! Every lady is invited to attend.
Only basic skills are necessary to prepare “tied” quilts for orphanages, half-way shelters, hospital nurseries, etc. These casual and friendly gatherings are great ways to serve our Lord and make great friends!
