10 Apr Good Friday 2020
Imagine attaching the name Good to a day in which watch a man murdered in that horrific way. The Good we see in this day is not apparent for another few days; on this day we remember the sacrifice of one man, the Anointed One, born for this moment. Imagine His thoughts, His pain, and finally the release that came through death.
In these moments together we recall a few of His words, spoken in agony, heard in His peace by us so long later. This is a difficult day, for we know that our sin, too, was responsible for His death. And His death, and the resurrection that followed, is responsible for our salvation. What a day. God bless you all.
